About Alycia.
From Perthshire, Scotland, Alycia Fashae studied at the
Royal Northern College of Music
in Manchester and the Centre de Formation Lyrique de L'Opera National de Paris.
While in Paris, she made her debut for the
Opera National de Paris
in Rigoletto, subsequently performing in Lulu and Bataclan while understudying the role of Servilia
in La Clemenza Di Tito. Alycia toured extensively with the Centre and also France Opera, singing in many provincial Theatres, in such roles as Pamina, Servilia, Adina, Fiordiligi, Lucia, Clorinda, La Cenerentola; Juliette
and Constance, Dialogue des Carmelites.
Upon returning from France, Alycia’s engagements included: Frasquita

In the United States of America, Alycia toured 29 states in the title role
of The Merry Widow, through Columbia Artists' (CAMI) own London City Opera.
Alycia has taken part in
The Bermuda Festival, a tour of Viennese evenings for Swansea City Opera
and Opera Galas in France for Opera a la Carte. She has toured England and Wales with Mid-Wales Opera
in the role of Musetta in La Boheme.
Roles for

included Alice Ford, Falstaff and Rosalinde
in Die Fledermaus, Norina,
as well as Don Pasquale for Opera a la Carte, Donna Anna
for Mid-Wales Opera. Alycia also took part in a series of concerts in the Arab Emirate city of Sharjah
2009 took Alycia on an extensive tour of the UK & Ireland in a Viennese Gala for
Theatre Productions Ltd.
She accepted the familiar role of Musetta in
Garden Opera’s summer tour of La Boheme.
In 2014, Alycia worked with world renowned Malcolm Martineau for the first time.
Concert repertoire includes- Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis; Rossini's Stabat Mater; Carl Orff's Carmina Burana; Handel’s Messiah; Schubert's Mass in A flat; Brahms’ Requiem; Strauss’ Four Last Songs and Konstanze in Mozart’s Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail.
Film appearances: Baron's wife- Il Cuor e La Strada (European Film Studios Collaboration) and Salome (Strauss), A Soldier’s Daughter Never Cries (Merchant Ivory)
Radio broadcasts: In Tune- BBC Radio3; St Antonio, Texas- Classical Hour; Pennsylvania State Radio, Radio France.
Although no longer singing full time, Alycia does give occasional performances, most recently Brittany, France.
Alycia now lives and works under her married name: Alycia Hayes.
She gives singing lessons to private pupils and runs a number of drama classes for children across Perthshire and sings, upon request, at private events.
